There are hundreds of reasons why people should take Pilates, but in this blog, I’m going to stick to why clients take Pilates from me. I serve a range of clients and cater to each person’s needs. It’s my priority to provide a custom experience that gives each client the attention they deserve. In this blog, we will discuss the three main reasons clients walk through my studio doors and why you should too.
Reason 1: Injury or Area of Concern
Having an injury or an area of concern is the main reason clients take Pilates from me. I trained with Corinna Cosentino at Lotus Pilates. She specializes in post-surgical rehab and acute spinal and joint conditions. After 600 hours of training, I earned my Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Certification in the body conditioning method of Joseph H. Pilates. Now, I specialize in post-surgical rehab and prenatal and postnatal therapy. With these qualifications, I have become a trusted Pilates instructor for people with injuries. When a person has an injury, they feel more comfortable in a one-on-one setting to share their areas of pain. No one wants to point out their weaknesses to a whole group. Together, during our privates, I tailor sessions in just the right way to recover strength and mobility in your body and help in your healing process.
Reason 2: Salon Experience
I love getting my haircut! There’s nothing better than someone washing your hair, talking you through the best ways to care for it, being asked about your life, and being pampered. I like to give my clients a similar experience. You never leave a salon angry (unless they cut your hair too short). After leaving, you feel comfortable in your own skin and like a new person. It is my mission to have you leave Equipoise Pilates feeling both confident and revitalized. A salon experience is impactful because it’s you and your stylist — they know your needs better than you do. Imagine a salon experience where they’re taking care of you and five other people. It loses its personal touch. At Equipoise Pilates, you will receive that personal touch and salon pampering experience.
Reason 3: Trying Pilates for the First Time
Surprisingly, a number of my clients have never taken Pilates before me. When trying Pilates for the first time, people want a judgment-free zone. The only space that guarantees no judgment, is in a private session. It’s important to me to take things slow and allow my clients to get used to the equipment. I offer an Introductory Package specific to this. It’s three sessions that allow clients to become familiar with the equipment and movement repertoire. During these sessions, I familiarize myself with your capabilities and together we build a customized program specific to your needs and goals. Each session will leave you feeling challenged yet successful.
If any of these reasons relate to you, consider trying Equipoise Pilates. Sign up for the Introductory Package or email me at info@equipoisellc.com to learn more!
