If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know that at Equipoise Pilates I help you create a consistent Pilates practice that will transform your body and enhance your quality of life. So, how do we do that??? In this blog, I list three (unexpected) tips that can help you create a consistent Pilates practice and help you achieve the body of your dreams. If you’re someone who needs to get back in shape, here’s my simple advice:
1. Get your sessions done first thing in the mornings — Yes, this takes discipline, especially if you have work or have appointments in the morning. Even if you’re not a morning person, you have more motivation at the start of your day. Once the workout is done, it’s done!
2. Don’t plan your Pilates session on a Monday — Of course you can, but if you play catch-up on Mondays, leave your session until Tuesday.
3. Don’t cancel your sessions — If you scheduled a pilates session, don’t cancel (unless you’re sick or it’s an emergency). When you cancel, the only person it affects is YOU!
Although these tips aren’t groundbreaking, they’re not complicated! Creating a consistent Pilates practice doesn’t have to be difficult. All it takes is small, achievable ways to get you back in shape!
