If you want to spice up date night, this blog is for you. With the weekend on its way and as your Pilates instructor, I find it fitting to organize a list of “activity” dates that your man will love. Fritz, my husband, and I are an active couple. We love bike rides, walks, and getting out of the house (don’t get us wrong, we love a good movie night in!). This blog is short and sweet but offers a variety of activities that you and your man can do together.
- Take a picnic at the beach. This can be done during the day while the sun is still shining or in the evening when there is a beautiful pink and orange sunset. The picnic doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be just you and him, a walk on the beach, and a few Coronas with lime!
- Golf. Have him play a round of nine while you drive the golf cart and sip on some chilled wine. If you’re up for it, play the round with him. Guys like any chance to teach their girl a thing or two — let him show you how to putt.
- Speaking of putt — play putt-putt. Fritz and I did this once and grabbed a cocktail after. We even placed a bet. Looser had to give the other a back massage… I lost 😢. This is a great way to bring out each other’s competitive side.
- Take a bike ride. Fritz and I are known for our bike rides. Take a cruise around Casey Key or in some of the beautiful neighborhoods in Sarasota.
- Go for a walk. Walking dates are the most underrated quality time you get with your significant other. Don’t save an evening stroll for a weekend date night. Make every night date night and go for a walk together after dinner. Fritz and I’ve found that we both get chatty while on walks. It opens you up to some amazing conversations.
Date night doesn’t have to be stale. Keep it spicy by trying new experiences together. I hope this gives you a few ideas about how you want to spend your weekend! I can’t wait for you to tell me about it next time you’re at the studio!
